You can pray

Emily was, like the Trustees, a committed Christian. The Apostles’ Creed is a neat summary of what that basically means. Pray that the children may feel part of a family at the Home, stay protected, and leave with real prospects for adult life. Pray for those working in the Homes, for wisdom patience and understanding for their task. Pray that this Trust may be able to make a difference in these young lives, with God’s help.

You can give feedback

If you have constructive suggestions or think you can contribute in some way, we would like to hear from you. For example, we rely on others to actually follow through with what is funded, and in other ways, such as presentation, and with translations into and from Spanish.

You can volunteer

For some of the organisations EmilyPeruHope helps fund. Individuals and teams have visited Peru to help practically and spiritually at the Children’s Homes. Some friends of Emily living in London are in a team working through All Souls Church, Langham Place, London, trying to tackle the abuse of trafficked people, who lead miserable lives from which escape is difficult. Visit tamarwestminster.org for more details.

We do not actively seek funding

The regular financial commitments we have made are funded by rental income from the flat Emily bought. However, many people and organisations have generously given to help. This is being channeled into other projects: from treating the children to new pyjamas, to, most ambitiously to date, funding improved accommodation for some of the children.
